Resources

Jefferson County is fortunate to have a wide variety of recovery resources for individuals experiencing substance use disorder or their family and friends who are looking for additional support and education.

Our HART initiative has partnered with agencies in the area to provide an extensive set of services for those who need them.

Outside of our partner agencies, there are several other organizations who provide top notch care to those in need.

Rescue 180

Rescue 180, located in downtown Jefferson City, is Jefferson County’s Substance Abuse Coalition providing prevention and recovery to those experiencing substance use disorder. Their programs consist of primary and secondary prevention, children’s programs and advocacy, and recovery/inmate reentry.

In partnership with Rescue 180, our community has access to a Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist (ROPS) who provides education on overdose prevention and response to anyone: individuals, organizations, first responders, etc. Learn more about ROPS services.
